Full description of the position

Mountain Alarm is hiring for a Commercial Sales Consultant in the Denver, CO branch.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with outside sales, preferrably security sales, alongside strong analytical and problem solving skills, and capable of establishing strong customer relations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sell products within assigned territory; maintain assigned sales quota while following established guidelines.
  • Use sales techniques to pitch and follow up on security products including access control and CCTV.
  • Use sales techniques to pitch and follow up on Reoccurring Monthly Revenue (RMR).
  • Identify prospective customers utilizing creative lead generating techniques.
  • Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
  • Adhere to current Fire Protection Service Corporation policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
  • Follow up with prospective customers in a timely manner.
  • Prepare final contract for signature
  • Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.
  • Maintaining customer retention by affirming customer satisfaction after the milestones of 6 and 12 months of service.
  • Limiting customer attrition through solid listening skills, problem-solving & solution implementation.
  • Maintains a good working environment with all employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Must read and speak English
  • Flexible style, perseverance, action oriented.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with external and internal customers.
  • Must possess strong time management skills
  • Aptitude for problem solving, ability to determine solutions for customers
  • 3+ years experience preferred
  • 1+ years experience required
