Altos Photonics is growing, and looking for a physicist/engineer to join our sales team, responsible for selling laser optics and related components.

Candidate should have a background in physics/optics with knowledge of pulsed solid-state lasers, non-linear optics, and electronics. Key fields include ultrafast optics, nonlinear optics, and laser-material interaction including laser ablation and spectroscopy.

Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good attention to detail, and a passion for attacking interesting problems, finding solutions, and helping customers understand and effectively utilize pulsed laser systems and related components.

The position requires approximately 10% to 20% travel, mostly domestic with occasional trips to Europe for training with our suppliers.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
