Full description of the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong desire to exceed targets. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Serves customers from their initial contact, qualifying them, assisting them, and facilitating the process through quoting, purchase order, and production.
  • Works closely with engineering and production to develop technical quotes for opportunities to produce profitable sales for Allred & Associates.
  • Builds strong relationships with key customers through regular contact. Provides responsive customer support, resolving any problems expeditiously.
  • Collaborates with engineering and production to develop new products and services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain accurate company, contact, and opportunity records in the customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Receive and process orders for DragonPlate and related carbon fiber products and services.
  • Interact regularly with the production department to request schedules and lead times required for quotes and customer follow-up.
  • Work with engineering & finance to generate technical quotes for nonstandard jobs, discuss project feasibility, verify pricing, and potential alternative solutions for the customer.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to shape opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Familiarity with engineering language preferred, or the ability to learn technical concepts.
  • Proficient in working with sales pipelines and CRM software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop an understanding of our products and part numbers.
  • Collaborate with the other sales staff, engineering, and production in managing clients and opportunities.
  • Contributes to the company's overall success by performing all work accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Allred customers.
  • Always abide by company policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but demonstrated professionalism could lead to growth.

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS

Close mental and visual diligence is required to work primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing calculations, using a personal computer, and/or extensive reading.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Ability to reach, sit, use fingers, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.

EQUIPMENT USED

Ability to use general office equipment, such as a personal computer and printer, calculator, postage meter, credit card machine, photocopier, facsimile, and telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.75 - $23.00 per hour
