EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for an Account Specialist to join our team in Northfield, NH, join us as we create devices being used in all facets of the medical industry. POSITION SUMMARY: The Account Specialist is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs, assisting with product pricing, material selection and delivery scheduling to produce quality parts and material.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Prepares cost estimates by reviewing blueprints and related customer documents.
  • Gains customer satisfaction by ensuring that products meet the customers expectations.
  • Services accounts by calling on existing customers, following up on quotes, obtaining orders and answering technical questions related to products and materials.
  • Contributes to sales growth by building strong business relationships with existing customers.
  • Acts as a liaison between the customer and the Quality Engineering Department to resolve complaints.
  • Provides pricing and delivery information to customers by collaborating with Production, Estimating and Quality Department team members.
  • Establishes an agreeable lead-time expectation with production control team and takes appropriate actions to maintain the expectation (issues purchase requisitions or orders).
  • Acts as a coordinator in collaborative engineering between the customer and EPTAM. Including, but not limited to, the ability to coordinate, schedule and facilitate conference calls and webinars.
  • Proper handling of all material and parts to prevent damage and loss of finished product.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • EDUCATION: Associate degree in a relevant discipline
  • EXPERIENCE: And/or five+ years experience in a Sales, Account Management or Customer Service role.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Background in manufacturing environment with an understanding of plastics and/or machining (Preferred, but not required).
  • Able to learn and adapt to new technology relating to office practices and procedures; pay attention to detail and work effectively despite interruptions.
  • Able to perform assigned duties with a minimum of supervision, as well as identify problems and implement or recommend solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints (Preferred, but not required).
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customer base.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in navigating customer portals, as required.
