Couture by Karen is seeking an experienced sales person to be an in-home design consultant to clients in SE Michigan and NW Ohio. Couture by Karen, a 5-Star rated company, is a growing business based out of Maumee, OH with over 43 years in the industry, satisfying customers with beautiful window treatment designs and quality products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Provide in-home consultations working closely with your client to create dream window coverings using different textiles and fabrics

-Write up detailed specs after the in-home sales process and follow the customer relationship through to a satisfactory installation

-Re-engage with potential and current clients to foster a strong repeat/referral book of business for a long career-filled pipeline.

-Join networking groups throughout the community to help build business rapport with new accounts

YOUR BACKGROUND:

-3+ years of in-home sales experience or related experience

-Negotiation skills, quoting and closing deals

-A flair for design, bonus points for previous window covering experience!

-Available transportation to courier samples to customers homes 3-4 times daily

-Experience using different technologies (Email, CRM, iPad/tablet)

-Valid Drivers License

-Ability to lift 30 lbs.
