This is a permanent, full-time position. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
Job Focus:
Our main client base is made up of businesses all over the country that order our products every week. This position will include sales support and customer service for both current and prospective customers:
Our Client Services Specialist will continuously work to develop and nurture a good rapport with our active customer base. This includes maintaining regular contact with the customer by: Learning their evolving needs, informing them of new products and promotions, reaching out when an individual customers sales are down, offering incentives when sales are up, and providing support when they
Prospective Customers (Leads):
We are contacted regularly by prospective customers (leads) that need assistance in becoming active customers. These leads will require a caring and informed individual who will assist them in learning the next steps to becoming a customer such as: filling out onboarding documents, how to navigate our online ordering system, which products are available to them and will meet their needs, and the order process from submission to completion.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Team by being a liaison with the customers and leads, especially when Sales team members are out on on-site visits or attending conferences. This could be by providing price quotes, sending onboard documents, emailing information, preparing samples to be mailed or delivered, or by researching the lead viability.
- Be the first point of contact for new and current customers via email, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence in a courteous and professional manner.
- Managing the traffic of incoming correspondence by (but not limited to): answering and directing calls, documenting messages and getting them to the appropriate department or personnel, and answering customer questions either directly or by returning calls or other correspondence in a timely manner.
- Monitoring emails, phone calls and faxes, for new orders and making sure they make it into our order process systems.
- Effectively following up on sales leads and nurturing prospects through the conversion process guiding prospects through the buyers journey, from initial contact to final conversion while maintaining current data in our CRM database.
- Building strong relationships with current and prospective customers, in person and over the phone. Manage customer concerns, and actively participate in customer transactions.
- Focusing on relationship building and customer growth.
- Continually evolving your skillsets and this position to be more effective.
- Learning to create and maintain periodic reporting such as CRM and KPI data to help create strategies to strengthen our customer base and identify our opportunities.
- Managing customer concerns, resolving problems and customer complaints.

Requirements:
- Customer Service experience
- Computer skills, multitasking and organizational skills necessary.
- Excel, AR/AP, CRM and data entry experience not necessary, but a plus
