Richardson Sports is a leading provider of headwear, renowned for its commitment to quality and exceptional customer service. As we continue to expand our Golf Division, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Account Manager, Golf Division, will play a crucial role in servicing accounts in the Green Grass and Golf Specialty Retail market across the globe. In addition to managing existing accounts, this individual will provide vital support to the Golf Divisions outside sales team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem solver, possess in-depth knowledge of our product line and decoration services, and excel in effective and concise communication with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Servicing Accounts
- Manage and nurture relationships with current accounts.
- Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Innovate and conceptualize compelling headwear assortments for a wide variety of accounts in the Golf market.
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of visual aesthetics and design principles.
- Process complex, high-level orders that require an elevated level of processing expertise.
- Cultivate new channels of sales opportunities at a strategic level within the assigned book of business.
Support of Outside Sales Team
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to understand customer needs and provide effective support.
- Assist in the development of strategic sales plans and product assortments.
Product Line, Decoration and System Expertise
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Richardson's product line, decoration services and systems.
- Offer insights and recommendations to customers based on their unique requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design concepts into proposed headwear assortments.
Communication and Relationship Management
- Communicate effectively and concisely with customers, outside sales representatives and internal teams.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with accounts to drive customer satisfaction.
- Address and work toward successfully resolving elevated issues that arise in collaboration with the Sales Support Manager and Sales Support team.
Training and Collaboration
- Work alongside the Sales Director to provide continuous training to outside sales team members.
- Educate sales teams on Richardson's products, decoration services, programs, online B2B platforms, and workflows.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in sales and/or account management roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- In-depth knowledge of product lines and decoration services within the headwear industry.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex information concisely.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
