About the job
NFP Health is seeking a Sales & Service Manager to lead our Business Engagement and Customer Support Teams. This role will have responsibilities across several areas including engagement and outreach, customer service and operations management. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, meeting revenue targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience through effective leadership and the execution of strategic sales and service initiatives within the HealthSource RIfor Employers State Exchange.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate 7 team members within the sales, customer service and operations function of the Small Business Contract.
Sales Management
- Develop and implement effective strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Generate and drive new business opportunities through consulting, prospecting, and networking.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with state partners, brokers, and employers.
- Attend Chamber meetings, business expositions and other industry functions to establish and develop client and broker relationships.
- Administer leads process on the selling of ancillary (voluntary) products for Employers and Brokers.
- Generate bi-weekly and monthly sales reporting for contract stakeholders.
- Oversee input and development of reporting in Salesforce.
Service Management
- Manage the Vonage customers service line.
- Oversee the resolution of customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Monitor and assess the quality of customer interactions, implementing quality assurance programs.
Operations Management
- Manage a subset of accounts within the contract.
- Manage team workflow processes for new business, renewals, maintenance items and overdue accounts such that clients and brokers receive items in a timely manner.
- Monitor reports for meeting the Service Level Requirements.
Requirements
- Health & Life Insurance License (RI) required,or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Previous experience managing Sales and/or Customer Service teams.
- Employee benefits experience,insurance carrier or brokerage a plus.
- Knowledge of group insurance products (Health, Dental, Life, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including.
- Familiarity with sales or account management functions, with a strong emphasis on customer service and support.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects.
