As a Sales Account Manager, you'll cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and present our products and services to potential clients. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key accounts and expand market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Collaborate with the team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients on product usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure high levels of retention and loyalty.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in sales is required.
- Candidates with experience in medical sales will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the medical diagnostics industry, such as CLIA and FDA regulations.
- Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, core laboratory testing, and toxicology procedures and technologies is a plus.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the medical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities and manage client interactions.
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, including clinicians, laboratory managers, and C-suite executives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and thrive in a dynamic, results-driven culture.
- Professional certifications related to sales or healthcare management (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Certified Medical Representative) are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: base salary $55,000
- Bonus Structure (Account managers are expected to be on track in their first 6 months to earn six figures in their first year of employment.)

- Travel reimbursement and expense coverage.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
