Full description of the position

This position is in office, full-time with a base salary and commission. It is encouraged to visit prospects within local territories to aid in sales success, and a company car is included for any outside sales activity. You will be responsible for cold and warm calling, developing qualified opportunities by doing creative outbound prospecting. Planning and critical thinking are important components in this position to maximize success. It will be a challanging and rewarding position which will provide the right person with uncapped earnings and income streams from multiple services that we provide, including but not limited to; truckload freight brokerage, LTL, regional asset-based carrier with niche capabilities, yard management and spotting, semi tractor-trailer repair, and semi tractor-trailer parking. This person must be able to see the "big picture" and capitalize on a plethora of opportunities for all our services. The position can be exteremely lucrative and lead to fast-paced career advancement within the companies. Success will be measured on revenue and margin growth across all services we provide.

What Youll Do

  • Help construct business opportunities to drive revenue and margin growth
  • Work closely with operations to ensure proper servicing to customer's expectations
  • Engage with key stakeholders and target prospects within a set region
  • Perform daily prospecting activities
  • Pre-call research and planning to hold successful warm calls
  • Connecting with prospects by email, Zoom meetings, LinkedIn, video marketing, phone and other platforms
  • Following up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
  • Maintaining CRM records
  • Social selling

What Youll Need to Have

At least 1 year of proven excellence in business to business sales, preferably in the logistics brokerage/supply chain/transportation industry. We are looking for a smart, dynamic, organized winner with a firm work ethic who loves to close deals, an individual who embodies and embraces being an all-around sales professional and representative of our companies. Key attributes to ensure immediate success include:

  • Persistent, analytical, competitive, enthusiastic, and resilient characteristics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong and professional presence to high-level executives
  • Ability to self-manage tasks and achieve target numbers for contacts and opportunities
  • A desire to pursue a career in logistics/transportation services
  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and CRM tools

About us

GetGo Transportation was founded in 2001 as a regional truckload carrier, providing excellent transportation service and specializing in hazmat and protect-from-freeze (PFF) capabilities. Shortly after, Go Logistic was founded to support GetGo's asset-based operation from a brokerage perspective, but quickly took off and established a wide-ranging service and customer base of its own. In recent years our services expanded further with the addition of iSpott (yard management and spotting services), GetGo Garage (tractor-trailer repair shop services) and [please apply online] (semi tractor-trailer parking). The addition of these businesses complimented the services of GetGo and Go Logistic, and make for a holistic and dynamic service offering for our collective customer base. We do business with customers of all sizes in a range of industries including fortune 500 companies and operate across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
