As we continue to expand our footprint in the telecommunications industry, we are seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead our sales team to new heights.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our multi-channel sales teams, driving performance, and cultivating strong relationships with our retailer and SMB teams. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, sales expertise, customer relationship-building abilities, effective communication, technical proficiency, and market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Motivate, develop, and manage multi-channel sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.

Develop overarching sales strategy, including goal and target setting, in alignment with company objectives.

Leverage market knowledge to develop and execute effective strategies.

Foster alignment and maintain relationships with key partners, such as Verizon.

Collaborate with the Market leadership team to shape and reinforce company culture.

Utilize effective selling techniques and shape training strategies to enhance team performance.

Demonstrate a full understanding of sales data and analytics to inform decision-making.

Execute company sales and employee development strategies with precision.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external shareholders.

Cultivate strong cross-departmental relationships and alignment.

Facilitate clear communications to ensure alignment and collaboration across teams.

Communicate promotions and marketing efforts effectively to ensure sales alignment.

Utilize sales tools, systems, and analytical platforms proficiently.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Stay informed about market and industry trends and customer behavior across channels.

Maintain a strong understanding of competitive offers and trends to inform decision-making.

Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering on clearly defined key performance indicators.

The capacity to identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop innovative solutions is important for overcoming obstacles and driving sales growth.

The ability to analyze sales data, metrics, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions is essential for success in this role.

Strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers is critical in retail sales. This involves building strong customer (internal and external) relationships, providing excellent service, and continuously seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or relevant work experience in related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail & small business sales management, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Proficient in data analysis and financial forecasting.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of the latest trends in telecommunications and wireless industry is a plus.

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environments.

Willingness to travel 50 75% of the time visiting stores, attending meetings and meeting with customers and vendor partners.
