Job Summary: Perry Roofing Contractors is searching for a team-oriented individual to join our Residential team. Our ideal candidate will have experience in roofing sales and an understanding of roofing materials and installation methods. In addition, the ideal candidate will generate revenue for the company by pursuing independent leads, referrals, and company provided leads. The candidate will meet with prospective clients and guide them through the sales process. The most successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and other members of the team.

The following are the essential job functions:

• Manage and operate Perry Roofing Contractors Showroom alongside the Residential Department.
• Proactively search for new business opportunities, respond to organic leads provided by the company, and maintain an existing client base.
• Attend appointments and make site visits as necessary to assess clients' needs.
• Conduct roof-top inspections and gather all necessary information to provide information to the estimate team, including a full-scale take-off with photos year-round.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation through regular sales meetings.
• Establish organizational goals, strategies, forecasting, reporting, and measurement for the company.
• Stay current with market supply and demand, economic indicators, and competition trends, and become familiar with the products offered.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Meet department manager's expectations and budget requirements related to department sales, market awareness, job selling, initiative, job quotes, and accounts.
• Possess excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Quickly learn and retain knowledge of new products, specialty products, and systems
• Have prior customer sales experience with cold-calling.
• Exhibit a positive and approachable demeanor with all walk-in customers and vendors, promptly responding to their inquiries and offering assistance.
• Have an aptitude for developing effective counter and winning sales strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain new buyers by building lasting relationships
• Proficient in price quoting and follow-up communication
• Able to operate a PC and related software
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual- Fluent in Spanish and English
• 2+ years inside sales experience in related industry

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
