This is an primarily office-based position that is responsible for utilizing their knowledge of the HVAC industry and skills in sales to provide customers the best solutions regarding their commercial project(s).

Starting Salary Range: $70,000/yr pay is negotiable based on experience.

Job Summary:
The HVAC Sales Engineer will be responsible for obtaining information about possible bids for boilers, chillers, rooftops, split systems, VRF systems, and refrigeration; effectively communicating with customers, managers, direct reports, and peers; making decisions and solving problems; evaluating job sites; pricing new projects; providing estimates and quotes for upgrades; and monitoring processes, materials, and/or surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers as well as developing new business leads
- Visit customer sites to evaluate and price new HVAC projects, educating customers on equipment repairs, estimate and provide quotes for efficiency upgrades for commercials/industrial customers.
- Plan and manage the full life cycle of projects to completion.
- Evaluate designs or specifications to ensure quality.
- Provide a comprehensive review and understanding of compliance to OSHA and VOSHA regulations.
- Define, secure, install, and qualify required equipment as needed.
- Manage technical and professional personnel to support projects.
- Manage job hours and expense spending.
- Determine causes of project problems or failures and resolve.

Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Trades Sales or related field (Required)
License/Certification:
- Valid Drivers License required
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a professional office environment, adhering to confidentiality.
- 10-20% travel locally and during the business day.
- Occasional travel beyond local branch to other offices (Rutland, VT; West Lebanon, NH; Bow, NH)
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable):
Security Clearance is not generally applicable but may be required for some customer sites. A background verification will be required.
