Each member brings his own unique perspective and knowledge about New York City to the ever-changing landscape of the market. The company has always been dedicated to building and managing a wide variety of New York City apartments to fit the varied lifestyles of all its residents.
The Brodsky Organization is currently seeking an onsite Leasing Agent for a rental property located near Lincoln Square. We are currently safely working in the office; this is not a remote position.
Job Description:
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish including:
- Entering inbound leads into our client tracking software, and responding to them
- Scheduling appointments based upon move in date, via phone and email.
- Conducting tours and working with prospects to find them their ideal home
- Follow ups
- Approving applicants and encouraging alternative methods to qualify applicants based upon their application submission
- Coordinating move ins, answering lease questions, accepting payments.
- Be the subject matter expert and overall point of contact for new tenants until move-in.
- Conduct in-person tours, Facetime tours and Zoom tours- whatever gets the job done.
- Make pricing recommendations based upon feedback collected during apartment tours
- Be knowledgeable of comparative buildings in the area, and how we stack up against the competition.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, manage calendar appointments and other administrative duties
- Maintain open lines of communication with your colleagues to support the best prospect experience possible.
- Be the tenants point of contact for renewal leases and achieve target pricing based on your buildings overall strategy.
- Strong follow up skills a must plus professionally crafted email replies that support your position
Attributes Wed Like to See from The Ideal Candidate:
- 1-3 years of residential leasing experience
- Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, and well organized in order to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Excel
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills both phone and in writing
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Consistent work history with excellent professional references
- Team oriented and self-motivated with a positive disposition
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, a plus
- Experience with Rentcafe, a major plus
- Knowledgeable of Fair Housing regulations
- Real Estate Salesperson License helpful, but not required.

- Weekday hours: 10:00am-6:00pm
