Description:Boater's World Marine Centers is a rapidly growing, fast-paced Marine Dealership that buys and sells a high volume of boats, boat motors, parts, and accessories. Previous boating experience is a plus but is not required! If you are a boat enthusiast and enjoy the boating lifestyle or know retail and want to get a start in the marine industry, please read on.
Boater's World Boat Marine Center's is seeking a Consignment Specialist. If you are sales, marketing, and customer service oriented, highly motivated to work, and passionate about the boating and recreational lifestyle, we would like to hear from you! This is an "entry-level position" with significant growth opportunities at our dealership for the right person.

Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:*

• Proactively contact boat sellers to discuss their needs and objectives through Social Media, Craigslist, Boat Trader, Facebook Marketplace, and Boat owner groups
• Prepare and consult with the Boat Acquisitions Manager to determine a fair market cash offer
• Utilize Boat Trader and NADA to determine Retail and Trade Values based on comparable sales
• Effectively communicate buying options to the seller - Cash, Consignment, or Trade-In
• Coordinate pick up and delivery of purchased, trade-ins or consigned boats for inspections.
• Effectively communicate and follow a conversational script with potential customers to offer Boaters World buying options
• Make outbound calls, emails, and messages to boat owners to solicit consignment inventory
• Process intake paperwork of purchased boats or consignment inventory

Requirements:

• Social Media Marketing and prospecting
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Basic computer skills and use of social media and websites
• Basic boating knowledge and terminology
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills
• Capable of building relationships, creating positive interactions with others, and communicating in a consultative manner.
• Passion for outdoor lifestyles - boating and RV

Other:

• The position is Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week and Sunday.
