The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for the comprehensive day-to-day management of parking operations, overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining equipment, nurturing client relations, managing financial budgets, and reports. This role is crucial in creating a positive parking experience for each customer within the designated parking areas. The position involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the parking industry, with knowledge of parking equipment, payment platforms, and enforcement practices.
- Successful completion of a Criminal background check and driving history check.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Valid Driver's License.
Desirable:
- College Education or equivalent experience.
- CPP or CAPP parking certifications

Essential Job Functions:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for parking operations aligned with the goals and objectives of the medical facility.
- Evaluate and propose enhancements to existing parking infrastructure.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of parking ambassadors, maintenance staff, and cashiers.
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of parking facilities, including staffing, traffic flow, and customer service.
- Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure parking environment.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall parking experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the parking budget, including revenue projections and expense control.
- Implement strategies to optimize revenue collection and reduce operational costs.
Technology Integration:
- Explore and implement advanced parking technologies to improve efficiency, such as automated payment systems and smart parking solutions.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of parking equipment.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with local parking regulations and zoning requirements.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and implement changes as needed.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with medical facility leadership, transportation services, and other relevant departments to address cross-functional parking-related issues.
- Participate in planning committees for new facility developments.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for parking facilities in collaboration with security and emergency management teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 10 or 12 hours, less break).
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures and all weather.
- Ability to use hands and arms in repeated motions (making change, punching computer keypad, etc.).
Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Management experience: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
