JOB SUMMARY
Our growing company is seeking to hire a sales manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. The Sales Manager will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing development of the sales team.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Comprehensive Sales Strategy: Spearhead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives, including setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
  • Team Leadership and Development: Oversee the daily operations of our sales team, providing planning, coaching, mentoring, and training. This encompasses managing both in and out-of-office schedules to maximize productivity and performance
  • Operational Excellence in Sales: Direct and coordinate all sales activities, ensuring seamless event management, loan pipeline oversight, and effective deal support. This includes preparing for events with the necessary supplies and materials, troubleshooting deal-related issues, and acting as a liaison between account managers and other departments
  • Performance and Compliance Management: Monitor and manage the execution of KPIs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company processes. Regularly assess sales strategies, market trends, and team performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Customer and Market Focus: Handle customer complaints, research consumer needs, and ensure our solutions align with market demands. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, loan products, and processes
  • Team Support and Motivation: Foster a competitive yet collaborative environment, motivating the team to generate leads, exceed revenue forecasts, and meet customer needs effectively. Lead by example in developing personal leadership and sales skills
  • Recruitment and Process Improvement: Play a pivotal role in recruiting new team members and continuously assessing and improving team processes and procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Finance or other related fields
  • 2+ years experience in a sales management role within the hard money lending, finance, or real estate sectors
ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, motivator
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Deep understanding of loan processing, funding processes, and the regulatory landscape
  • Strong proficiency in CRM and loan management systems
  • Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively across departments and with senior management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong creative perspective to bring fresh ideas to product and value positioning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with fast-paced, always-on environment
  • Computer software knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Ability to attend industry and/or company events outside of standard business hours
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrix structure
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive communications
  • Ability to successfully coordinate team members across all levels and functions of the organization
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
  • All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
