Sales Representative: Maryland

Job Posting:

The Scale People / Lab People, Inc., an analytical equipment distributor and service company, is looking for an ambitious new business development sales representative to join our growing company. Since 1975 we have been serving customers' weighing and measurement equipment needs.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, empathetic, thorough, and proactive. This position is focused on hunting for new leads related to our products and service sales. The candidate will be working with an experienced sale team.

Experience working with large companies and government customers is preferred.

Responsibility:

• Identify new prospects and effectively move new leads through the sales cycle into qualified new customers.
• Develop and demonstrate in-depth product and service knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
• Work with key partners such as sale staff, Manufacturers reps, technical support, and customers to deliver high-quality products and services
• Prepare concise and accurate reports, quotes, and proposals for customers and internal sales meetings.
• Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
• Maintain and improve working relationships with existing clients to ensure they receive exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47,500.00 per year
