Full description of the position

Client Facing: Deliver exceptional professional service to clients, both existing and new. Review Renewals to update needs and provide recommendations to clients. Cross-sell accounts to solidify agency relationships with clients. Quote and issue new business. Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions.

Carrier Facing: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with carrier underwriters, claim adjusters and other personnel. Understand carrier rating system updates, policy updates, rate changes, and underwriting guidelines.

Agency Facing: Strong communication with co-workers. Follow processes to update, renew and issue policies in agency AMS (Hawksoft). Willingness to pitch in when needed to meet the needs of our clients and agency. Strong attention to detail.

BasePay $20++/hr. depending on experience and industry knowledge.

Skills/Requirements:

- Active P&C License, Life and Health License a plus. CISR or CIC designations a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the insurance industry

- Agency Management System Proficiency in Hawksoft or similar insurance AMS.

- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance, being able to identify differences between policy forms provided by different carriers, to successfully guide clients in purchase of the appropriate coverage.

- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance and creation of Certificates of Insurance

- Experience working with multiple insurance carrier websites, raters and underwriting guidelines

- Proficient in Microsoft ProductsWord, Excel and Outlook

- Ability to quickly learn and navigate online systems

- Proven ability to analyze situations, identify problems and provide solutions.

- Ability to professionally handle client interactions via phone, email, text or in person.

- Ability to manage a team of customer service agents, create and follow processes with the team.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.

- Self-driven to learn and stay updated on the insurance industry and agency needs

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
