Aspex is one of the worlds largest global distributors of quality eyewear and sunwear, serving markets in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Aspex is looking for an Independent Sales Representative eager to succeed in promoting, selling quality products in the region of Richmond, Virginia. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales by expanding the eyewear product portfolio in optical practices and retail eyewear locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn all about the products

Build strong relationships with customers

Promote and train clients to know more about the products

Answer any questions customers have about the products

Set appointments with current customers and prospects in the territory

Conduct face-to-face presentations with clients and provide them with relevant information related to benefits and use of products offered

Visit prospects, potential, new, and existing clients on a regular basis

Keep contact lists and follow up with customers

Identify and acquire new business, sales negotiation and closing sales

Ensure effective account management

Perform in consultative selling and outside sales

Update and ensure a functional database of clients, contacts, leads, etc.

Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports online, call reports

Participate in conference calls

REQUIREMENTS :

Independent contractor with 1-3 years account management, outside sales experience

Eyewear experience is an asset

High level of professionalism and integrity

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Organization and ability to prioritize tasks

Ability to solve problems and find solution

Strong self-management skills

Confidence to influence key decision makers

Travel throughout the territory on a route type basis
