For more information, visit [please apply online] The primary responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager, Hotels & Resorts are to proactively provide seamless sales, marketing and customer service support to hotels in their assigned market areas, ensure client retention/conversion and to achieve/exceed established marketing revenue goals. This position also oversees other high-level tasks as assigned by the Director and Managing Director, including program and marketing analysis.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Present and sell marketing opportunities to designated accounts - individual hotel properties worldwide, many of which are A accounts.
  • Implement all ad hoc marketing pushes and presentation materials on a strategic level.
  • Create hotel and brand update emails on a regular basis.
  • Set up and coordinate new hotel orientation sessions.
  • DOMO evaluation and analysis.
  • Assists in staff rate adoption of all Enterprise tools.
  • Assistance in implementing partner reporting projects and other new partner programs and tools.
  • Create marketing proposals and insertion orders for individual hotel properties worldwide.
  • Negotiate contracts and sponsorships for individual hotel properties and brands.
  • Provide customer service and assess needs of account to ensure partner ROI.
  • Proactive account analysis and market assessment.
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide productive resolution.
  • Support the Managing Director and Director, Hotels & Resorts in the planning, creation and execution of strategic plans and projects as required.
  • Conduct professional client meetings and host webinars.
  • Maintain credit/billing spreadsheets per assigned accounts.
  • Attend professional events relevant to the Hotel & Resort Program.
  • Supervise personnel as appropriate.
  • Achieve/exceed individual and department goals and revenue targets.
  • Virtual Event Emcee.
  • Updating the Hotel Toolkit.
  • Managing VIP registrations for VTW (entering credits, registering, assisting with booking accommodations and airport transfers, submitting suite upgrade requests, submitting amenity requests).
  • Reporting: pulling and creating Marketing Histories, Engagement Analyses, Market Share Report.
  • Marketing Assistance: requesting placement for ads in Best of the Best Directory, providing metrics and screenshots of deployed campaigns, changes in Magazine Manager (production contacts, billing contacts, billing ad agencies, updating participation in campaigns, entering credits and special billing instructions), proofreading and editing Marketing Media Kit.

Educational and Skills Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree, or on the job work experience in the hotel industry equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in hotel sales
  • 5+ years of experience in management preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a deadline driven environment
  • Personable, professional team player a must
  • Proficiency in MSWord, MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Demonstrate ability to advise on sensitive issues
  • Ability to identify and grow business relationships
  • Competencies using internal company platforms
    • Uploading Insertion Orders to Magazine Manager
    • Accounting and billing updates in MM
    • Providing Metrics to partners on Marketing activities

Travel Requirements:
  • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.

Type/Nature of Contacts:
  • Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers outside of the jobs immediate work unit/department.
  • External: Daily contact with various external contacts with hotel partners globally.
