About us

Ernest Maier Inc is a Structural and Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator located in Gaithersburg Maryland. We serve Contractors and General Contractors as well as offer walk - In and electronic inquiries.

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative familiar with Steel sales that thrives in a fast paced environment. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable reading shop drawings, making and taking dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Reading Shop drawings, take-off's and estimates
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain a working knowledge of product

Skills

• Proven inside sales experience
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
• Proficient with Steel shapes and Sizes, Rebar and plan reading
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High School Diploma minimum requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
