Account Executive/Outside Sales

Industrial Supply Solutions, Inc. (ISSI) is a wholesale distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations products servicing the mining and industrial markets since 1946. We have multiple operations in 14 states with an excellent reputation for providing quality products and service. Our customer base includes some of the largest companies in the U.S.

We have an opportunity for an Account Executive for the Kansas City, KS and surrounding markets.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business with new and existing customers
• Ensure technical requirements for customers are met
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
• Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and build confidence
• Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
• Provide technical support as required
• Provide business planning to reach product and sales goals
• Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
• Completing reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls and leads
• Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Team oriented, outgoing, positive personality with superior problem-solving skills
• Travel to customers
• Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage time well
• Make quick sound decisions and think out of the box mentality
• Drivers License, with a good driving record, and dependable transportation
• Business or related degree a plus

This will be a salary plus commission position. Company provides major medical insurance, term life insurance, and 401K. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience, proven track record, and ability. Pre-employment drug testing, physical and background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• aggregate, mining or conveyor: 1 year (Required)
• Outside Sales: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• driver's license and clear MVR (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Kansas City, KS: Relocate before starting work (Required)
