Inside Sales Representative

Our North American team in Texas needs reinforcement with a junior-level sales position. You will be instrumental in helping us support our customers including some of the worlds top sports organizations, athletes and coaches. The person we are looking for is business savvy, takes ownership, and has a passion for sports and training. The position offers broad professional growth opportunities alongside the companys achievements.

This is a full-time position located in 1080 Motions offices in the historic downtown of Bastrop, Texas.

1080 Motion is a Swedish company established in 2013. We provide high-end motorized training and testing equipment for sports performance training and rehabilitation. Our products and services enable athletes and their coaches to perform at peak levels by optimizing strength, speed, and resilience to sports injuries.

Our steadily growing client base includes professional teams, collegiate sports organizations, Olympic, government, and privately owned training and sports rehabilitation facilities.

From our North American base in Bastrop Texas, we perform all aspects of marketing, sales, post-sales education, and customer support. We are growing. We are profitable. We need top performers to join our team.

Job functions and responsibilities

• Respond to and manage incoming orders and requests for product and pricing information.
• Prospect for new opportunities through the systematic use of market intelligence, CRM data, social media, and outbound communication via phone and email.
• Work in close collaboration and support the executive sales team. Schedule client meetings, prepare quotations, and follow up on qualified opportunities.
• You will learn over time to independently conduct customer onboarding sessions and provide customers with user training remotely or in person at client locations.
• Assist with planning and execution of regional or national industry events to exhibit and promote 1080 Motion.
• Be a key member of a highly collaborative team that meets challenging activity and sales targets.
• Assist with other projects and activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• You have a polished, energetic, and winning personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are good at structuring and managing numbers and data.
• Strong personal interest in sports, training, and human performance.
• Ability to learn technology concepts and applications including software and hardware.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and tenacious. You are a team player who takes ownership of your individual results and team level progress.
• Working level proficiency using business tools including G-suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and social media.
• You can prove that you have a strong desire to succeed and grow.

Education and Experience:

Prior sales experience is required.

Qualified candidates have a university degree and/or other talents and experiences that make them suitable for the role.

A degree or certification in Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, Physical Therapy, or Athletic Training is advantageous.

A valid drivers license is required.

Compensation and benefits

Salary is determined based on experience.
