Full description of the position

Our growing insurance agency is currently seeking experienced full-time Health Insurance Agents to join our internal sales team. You must be highly motivated, a team player, and interested in boosting your sales career. You will primarily be offering ACA Marketplace health insurance plans and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge into Medicare and Life insurance. Unlimited leads and training provided! Sales are done over the phone and to walk-in customers. Hourly base pay, plus commission, and opportunities for bonuses. This is an in-office position, not remote.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Answer inbound and place outbound calls from/to prospective clients
• Determine eligibility by comparing prospect information to requirements
• Inform prospects and clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information
• Establish policies by entering prospect information and confirming pricing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Texas Life and Health Insurance License required
• ACA/Marketplace sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual, fluent written and verbal English/Spanish a plus, but not required

HOURS

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm (in-office, not remote). During open enrollment (Nov 1 - Jan 15) rotating Saturdays are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
