Full description of the position

Position Summary:

The Revcor Sales Engineer specializes in providing custom-made airflow solutions to meet our customers specific target requirements. The Sales Engineer will provide all necessary technical support as it relates to our vast product offerings to many functional areas, including those in Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing. The Sales Engineer will perform many duties including in depth product performance selections, while highlighting its features and benefits. Overall responsibility for sales revenue and profitability growth within assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create a strategic sales plan to ensure the achievement of revenue and gross profit objectives for their assigned accounts.
  • Develop productive business relationships and establish an in-depth understanding of account history, scope of operations, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with customer commodity managers and engineers to identify and develop new opportunities using Revcors advanced products and service capabilities.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Revcors broad product and service offerings to provide expert recommendations that best align with customer needs.
  • Complete business activities such as quotations, performance curves, product samples, and drawings.
  • Support product management and marketing (market analysis, competitive intelligence, industry trends, etc.).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proven work experience in a technical sales role
  • Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions in a manufacturing or engineering design industry
  • Solid technical background with an understanding and/or hands on experience in the HVAC industry preferred
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Strong desire to learn, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player
  • Superior PC knowledge to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP and CRM software is preferred
  • Willingness to travel Approximately 35%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
