Orangetheory Fitness is a trendsetting fitness organization with over 1500 locations open in 28 Countries and over 200+ new fitness studios under development. We are currently seeking qualified Team Lead Sales Associates for the Shrewsbury, MA studio.
The goal of the Team Lead Sales Associate is to support operational needs for the sales team in a leadership capacity as well as assist the Studio Manger with daily studio needs. Your position would include but is not limited to maintaining the highest level of customer service for our members, exceeding sales goals, and support of fellow team members. Most importantly candidates will have a true passion for fitness and a commitment to creating positive experiences for everyone around them.
The Team Lead Sales Associate role assists in running all front of house fitness studio operations, with a strong focus on premium customer service as well as meeting sales expectations. Ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and basic sales experience. The Sales Associate is responsible for meeting and exceeding all sales goals, including membership sales and renewals, retail and concession sales, maximizing workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer service levels.

- Solid verbal and written communication skills required.
- Able to multi-task and excel in a busy fitness environment.
- Functional computer skills required MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use.
- Health & Fitness minded people strongly preferred - High school diploma required.
- Ability to work and function in an ORANGE TEAM environment (Orange is more than a just a color, its an attitude).
- Flexible schedule includes day, evening and/or weekend availability.
- MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows up on all prospects & leads by using established Orangetheory Fitness sales systems. This includes telephone, text & email inquiries.
- Follows Orangetheory Fitness established protocol for telephone, walk-in, & guest inquiries.
- Must establish and maintain a minimum required referral program as defined by Orangetheory Fitness Company standards.
- Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to studio operations.
- Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills.
EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC TASKS:
Process refunds, membership freezes and terminations
Ensure all incomplete paperwork is followed up on and complete timely
Monitor and respond to member reviews
Update monthly calendars
Plan Monthly newsletter with SM and HC; put content in Emma and submit to corporate
Seek out individuals for member spotlights, gather information and pictures
Manage and publish weekly schedule for SA team
Attend monthly Orange Nation webinars and any other sales and Ops webinars
Attend group training, meetings and all assigned Orange University courses
Participate in marketing activities and events both through internal and external efforts
Ensure front desk and lobby is kept orderly, organized and clean; overall studio is kept clean
Develop, enforce, adjust, find efficiencies for all processes and procedures
Report member, system, and personnel issues to Studio Manager
- Successfully completes the Orangetheory University training courses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
