Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, this is a full-time position, based at our San Leandro location and comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as the primary interface between Trayer Engineering and specific strategic account(s) to ensure customer and company needs are met.

Manage account team consisting of customer service, product applications and field service.

Build strong positive client relationships at all levels of the customer organization.

Work with company peers and executive management to meet and exceed customer expectations including on time delivery and quality metrics.

Acts as customers advocate within the company to facilitate the best possible customer experience.

Participates at a senior level with industry peers in industry associations and groups (IEEE etc.)

Facilitate, define, and document the required modification of existing products to suit customer specific applications.

Define development projects of new product designs to accommodate customer applications.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in STEM based discipline.

Successful track record working in the electric power industry

15yrs + experience with electrical power systems: including switchgear, fault interrupters, over current protection relays, RTUs, and Smart Grid / SCADA communication protocols, transmission, and distribution systems

Demonstrated experience working with senior members of Utility and C&I customer base, active participant in industry associations and working groups

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

May require limited overnight travel

Based in the San Francisco Bay area

High drive and discipline to work alone as well as in a team.

Superior problem solving and critical thinking abilities

Highly Desirable Attributes:

Specific experience and knowledge of the PG&E electric grid

MSEE or MSME preferred

Proven team leader

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
