What:
Marietta Drapery & Window Coverings is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will sell window coverings to commercial sectors like, apartment communities, general contractors, hotels, management companies, and universities. This Representative will work to maintain and increase sales in Metro Atlanta and surrounding territory for our multi-housing and commercial/construction sectors.
How:
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. Travel is required, including overnight, but weekends are few and far between. You will use our network of nationwide area managers, installation teams, and shipping providers to fulfill the needs of our future and current client base. We require a positive individual who is willing to learn the business and work with a tenured firm in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
• Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in the territory
• Attend industry trade shows and association meetings to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
• Update client information in the company CRM
• Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
• Follow-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution
• Make personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis
• Complete sales calls and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy
• Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of outside sales
• Experience in the following is preferred but not required:

Business to Business sales Knowledge of the multi-family industry Experience selling materials or textiles Experience with the construction industry Must be willing to travel

• Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• This position is full-time salaried
• Starter package of $40,000 to $50,000 annually (with or without car allowance), plus commission and an opportunity to grow your income exponentially
• Benefits offered include Vision, Medical, Life, Dental & 401K
• Per-diem, gas, and lodging expenses included

Additional Information:

• Two weeks paid training at the corporate office in Marietta, GA

Qualifications
Experience in the multi housing industry preferred
Sales experience is not required but greatly preferred
Live in Metro Atlanta area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
