STAFFING CONSULTANT - SALES REP
SUMMARY
An outside professional sales position with primary responsibility for business growth in the Lakeland area with set sales objectives. Develop new client accounts and retain current clients by developing relationships through on-going personal contact with clients; establishing 'key accounts' and working with targeted specific industries to dominate market penetration within the territory. Focus on Hospitality and Light Industrial Industries.

Sales Identify potential clients and customer groups in the local market with knowledge of competitor operations, strengths and strategies. Build market recognition and presence by using Company and Sales marketing tools to increase local visibility. Identify and sell 'key accounts'. Key Accounts may be defined with length of contract, revenue volume and/or multiples of service employees daily. Identify specific industries of a target segment to focus on providing services to ensure market dominance. Concentrate sales efforts to achieving this market dominance. Make frequent personal contact with potential clients, established clients, and local business leaders to promote Balance Staffing and its services. Understand the customer needs and expectations by reviewing regularly client staffing strategies, specific project, work and service employee requirements. Develop sales strategies and proposals by using client and company knowledge to evaluate potential projects and accounts and also to reactivate previous clients. Present Balance Staffing sales proposals accurately, professionally, and persuasively, using Balance Staffing's capabilities and advantages. Achieve established financial objectives for Sales.
Maintain latest information on the staffing industry with knowledge of common staffing strategies, options and methods and economics.
Operations Establish communication channels with the Branch recruiters to communicate customer needs, preferences, expectations and commitments. Record and communicate essential customer information to Balance Staffing's Support Center; provide accurate and timely credit, new client, and service agreements. Help coordinate preparations for and the implementation of new account service programs. Follow Balance Staffing policies with client selection, including Service Confirmation, credit policies, workers compensation codes, bill rates, margins, and client safety responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Sales and/or Marketing or related field preferred. Two to four years experience in sales position demonstrating continued increasing sales results.
Experience is preferred in the staffing industry or when selling an intangible product. Sales or operations experience within a specific industry ie. manufacturing, construction, hospitality

Mental acuity to evaluate sales strategies, client needs and instructions to meet sales goals.
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred and a big plus toward being successful in the Lakeland market.

The staffing consultant must be able to work both in a conditioned office environment and in outside environments, including, but not limited to, construction sites, industrial client sites, and service industry clients. Environments may include a variety of weather and exposure to dirt and dust.
OTHER SKILLS
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills to present a professional presentation to potential and existing clients.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and sales proposals.
Knowledge of the local business community to prospect and generate sales Must have basic skills in Windows XP and be proficient using spreadsheets and word processing programs (preferably, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel).
Prefer contact management software experience .
