Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service and grow existing account base by planning and organizing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedule
• Develop new customers by researching market segments, identifying target customers, and cultivating new relationships
• Develop technical sales presentations tailored to specific product and customer segments
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in industry associations.
• Analyze monthly reports and evaluates customer performance and product trend analysis.
• Represent Coexcell at trade shows and other industry gatherings
• Work with Quality and Production Planning to harmonize communication and present a unified voice to each customer.
• Manage customer expectations in a way that they are met or exceeded by plant performance

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree
• Knowledge of chemistry is a plus.
• Possess strong business acumen, tenacity, and proven ability to influence a broad range of decision makers
• 5-10 years of sales experience; preferably in the packaging industry or in a technical role. Sales into automotive, electronics, food applications or other highly regulated industries are a plus.
• Goal oriented with a proven ability in handling multiple priorities and details in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment while always maintaining professional image.
• CRM experience, Salesforce.com a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with specific emphasis on Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
• Ability to interact with multiple departments both internally and externally (purchasing, marketing, operations, R&D, and executive management)
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
• High level of organization and focus on detail

Additional skills necessary to succeed in this role include strategic prospecting, active listening, relationship building, effective communication, project management, time management, cold calling.
