Full description of the position

Responsibilities

  • Work with TMs and Dealers in each region to maximize sales.
  • Add (2) Scoreboard & Display Specialists in key parts of the region during 2023 (Upon Budget Approval).
  • Ensure sales team learns and uses new technologies to better organize and operate their territory.
  • Work with sales team to establish installation only / service companies in strategic areas of region to support our internal capabilities.
  • Ensure sales activities levels are being achieved from each Scoreboard & Display Specialist and OP Territory Managers (Rev. 0 Quotes)
  • Assist with coordination of all sports industry state trade shows attended by the Watchfire in region.
  • Travel as needed with Sports reps, TMs, and Dealers to maximize sales in the region.
  • Assist or Lead Presentations to ADs, Coaches, Superintendents, Park Directors as needed.
  • Provide guidance on territory organization, sales strategy, closing, processes, professionalism to the field sales team.
  • Meet with one architect per quarter to educate about Watchfire.
  • Ensure that Scoreboard & Display Specialists are properly utilizing [please apply online] Assist in resolving challenging situations that arise within the sales team.
  • Recommend training for each direct report and work with management to achieve.
  • Motivate, encourage, and support each member of the team to maximize their contributions.
  • Manage and contain expenses of direct reports.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in the outdoor sign industry
  • 2+ years physical product sales experience preferred
  • Possess and maintain a valid drivers license, and be able to rent vehicles
  • Willingness and ability to fly as needed to accomplish territory goals or as required for trade shows and company meetings
  • Maintain physical ability to do moderate lifting, and to do the moderately demanding physical activities required in the job
  • Proficiency in the key Microsoft programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) or customer relationship management (CRM) software, ideally SalesForce

Education and Licensing

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in business, sales, electronics, or related fields
