Mackay Marine is a global organization specializing in the sales and service of marine electronics for commercial and military use. Mackay is seeking an experienced Inside Technical Sales Coordinator with the skills and qualifications outlined below to join our Miramar, FL location.
Inside Technical Sales Coordinator Overview:
The Inside Technical Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information; develops and maintains customer accounts. The Inside Technical Sales Coordinator manages the procurement and delivery of the products and all related records. (TJD)
Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent and timely customer service by answering telephone, fax, and email inquiries.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
- Orders materials, verifies goods received, prepares shipments, creates packing lists, and communicates expected delivery date to the customer.
- Develops accounts by checking customers buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
- Configures, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
- Maintains accurate and complete records per company procedure.
- Configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
- Other duties as needed.
Inside Technical Sales Coordinator Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree or bachelors degree (preferred)
- 3+ Years sales experience.
- 3+ Years experience working with marine electronics.
- 2+ Years of inventory experience.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, has the proven ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English required and Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
- The ability to interpret and solve problems and issues, using instructions, diagrams, or technical specifications.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Customer-oriented; resourceful, relationship builder.
