Summary: This employee is responsible for exterior home remodeling sales, including but not limited to roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, gutters, downspouts, and additions at the client residence by performing the duties below. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily. Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers. Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts. Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
**Preference will be given to applicants with sales experience in the exterior home remodeling industry.**
Responsibilities:
1. Regularly travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, occasionally engages with customers in showroom, or by phone.
2. Responds to potential clients within 24 hours of initial request for quotation.
3. Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
4. Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM as well as Hover and other estimating tools.
5. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of S&Ks delivery schedules.
6. Maintains customer contact following completion of job to ensure timely payment and customer satisfaction as well as to encourage future business.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
8. Attending industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
9. Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
10. Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
11. Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends is a plus.
Education/Experience:
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office, job tracking database software and basic internet skills.
Certificates and Licenses: MHIC license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
