We are seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical and customer service support to Rexa channel partners and customers directly. The incumbent will create complete quote proposal and supporting documentation and act as the voice of the customer to the factory for expediting and for complaint requests. The position is located in West Bridgewater, MA. We offer relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:*
- Evaluate raw data (specifications, datasheets, drawings, photos, etc.) provided by customers to size and select the optimal actuator for the application.
- Create quote packages for sales force and customers following REXAs quote process guidelines.
- Search, review, mark up, provide reference drawings/schematics as requested, or, if none available, co-ordinate with Engineering to provide drawings of the proposed actuators.
- Perform cost analysis and margin estimates on product offering to facilitate special project pricing as requested.
- Manage phone calls and emails for technical assistance. Answer questions in regard to the proper actuator sizing, operations, and control schemes available.
- Review mounting dimensions and ensure they contain all information needed to enable properly designed REXA mounting brackets to adapt to the driven device. Explain the spring selection guide and how to properly size the actuator and spring.
- Review new orders following REXAs order process guidelines and clarify the requirements with the customer or channel partner who sent in the order, ensuring the options selected are correct in relation to customer requirements. Clarify with the customer if there are any discrepancies identified.
- Organize and coordinate transfer of information from Sales to Engineering to ensure that all design details are included to meet customer specs in full. Resolve any technical issues to ensure successful completion of jobs.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to accommodate requests for expediting jobs
- Participate in customer and channel partner training classes when required.
- Facilitate Factory Acceptance Test of products as necessary
The ideal candidate has the following:
- A Bachelors Degree in engineering; mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical
- Basic knowledge of control valves, actuation, and the process control industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Basic competency with computer aided design software; Solidworks preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers to drive high customer satisfaction
- Project Management experience
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment of collaboration
- Strong organization and time management skills with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and multitask.
Working conditions:
Office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
