Job Overview

The Property & Casualty Account Manager is responsible for completing administrative and client support tasks that help secure revenue and serve clients. The Account Manager sets up new commercial and personal accounts in addition to servicing the existing book of business. This team member works directly with customers and partners with internal team members.

The ideal candidate is client-centered, phenomenal at follow up, experienced in both the financial and insurance industries, and will respect our clients and their goals while being friendly and personable.

This position is for you if you are a self-starter who is a terrific communicator (Telephone and email), excel at follow up, has high integrity, focuses on details and are comfortable working independently as part of a small team.

Job Details

• Manages personal and commercial insurance quotes, secures the business and services accounts.
• Leads the operations process of account set-up, including opening accounts and uploading information. Ensures the process is completed in a timely manner.
• Manages a book of business consisting of small - medium commercial clients in need of coverages for General Liability, Commercial Property, Commercial Auto and Workers Compensation, Bonds, Professional Liability, EPLI and other specialty products.
• Manages personal clients book of business in need of coverages for auto, home, umbrellas and any specialty coverages.
• Remarkets policies and secures quotes from a variety of carriers and MGAs to maintain competitive pricing for all commercial policyholders to explain and analyze current programs and changes, marketing renewals and providing support to Producers.
• Collaborates with Producers and Account Executives in preparing summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals
• Processes Certificates of Insurance and evidences of property
• Processes applications and endorsements
• Documents conversations with clients and carrier personnel in our agency management system
• Responsible for daily service of clients including renewals, endorsement processing, communication with clients and companies, negotiating premiums, policy transactions, cancellations, Certificates of Insurance, binders and audits.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty experience (5+ years experience)
• Property & Casualty Insurance Licenses
• Life and Health Insurance Licenses
• Experience working directly with clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic - intermediate level MS Office experience including Outlook and Excel
• Sales experience (preferred)
• Full-time position
• Monday-Friday, standard business hours
• Work in our Northwest suburban office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
