Job Title: Key Account Manager - West

About the opportunity: The Key Account Manager will operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders, develops a trusted relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners. Responsible for building long-term sales strategy and initiatives for accounts that align to the overall business objectives and strategy. Apply today!

Location: This role is a remote position, and needs to be located in the Western US. This role will oversee key and strategic accounts along the western half of the US.

What you will be doing:
Develops and maintains a professional, positive, and productive long-term business relationships within each assigned key account.

Drive long-term partnership value by developing understanding of clients business and technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities, and goals as well as competitive landscape.

Build, cultivate, and nurture relationships through clients organization to grow business partnership across PHCNA and the account. Also makes sure that the client is aware of all the other services we offer and helps to ensure that integrated services are implemented seamlessly.

Proactively assess the needs of customers on an ongoing, regular basis. Collect insights and deepen PHCbi understanding of the client, in terms of their products and strategic priorities. Keep progress reports on client and regular meetings to align on priority projects.

Proactively, lead a cross-functional customer engagement team to develop strategic account customer specific plans, (i.e., Tiger Teams), coordinate building of solution efforts and critical milestones for key accounts. Coordinate and leverage internal cross-functional resources to develop plans that will maximize results at the customer level. Deliver value-added solutions and recommendations that achieve growth targets.

Supporting go-to market strategies for selected BPB accounts.

Help driving BPB market share and revenue growth, and ROI objectives through designated activities and specialized programs, such as Voice of the Customer, AIA, Tiger teams, etc.

Participate and present in key conferences and events for the Biopharma segment to increase PHCbi brand awareness and market growth goals.

Develop content including presentations, communication, and literature to support key messages and tools.

Provide mentoring to the PHCNA team, educating the sales team to ensure each rep is prepared to engage with prospects, position our products, defend annuity accounts, and create positive business relationships with our customers.

Serving as a field resource to guide product development and enhancement.

Performing SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, track industry trends, and maintain extensive knowledge of market condition to build a comprehensive intelligence base to help inform our decision making.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need for success:
10+ of experience in Biotech or BioPharma and Life Sciences highly preferred.

5+ years of experience in sales.

3+ years of experience in account management.

Bachelors Degree in related science, MBA preferred.

Up to 40% overnight travel
