Mattress ZZZs is our mattress store currently located inside each of our J&K Furniture Store Locations. We have 5 store locations in the Myrtle Beach market and just opened our 6th Mattress ZZZS location in Mount Pleasant! Mattress ZZZs offers all of the top brands to compare side by side at competitive pricing. We are currently seeking Mattress Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team and help simplify the mattress buying process for our clients by using your extensive knowledge of mattresses to pair the perfect mattress to each client. If you are a motivated individual, with previous sales experience (mattress specific experience is not required!), that shares our passion for a perfect night's sleep and wants the opportunity for professional growth in the coastal area, we want to hear from you!

If selected, the qualified candidate will be provided with paid training during our Mattress Specialist Certification process where we will train you be become a sleep and mattress expert. Sales Consultants are salaried positions with bonus opportunities (not commissioned sales!)

Job Requirements:

Successful candidates for this position must possess inordinate problem solving skills, demonstrate past successes in their previous employment, and display superior communication skills.

Additional requirements for this position include:

• Associates Degree in Business or related field (or minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a retail sales environment)
• Ability and willingness to lift over 50lbs
• Client & Project Management experience
• Professional attire
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes weekends and some holidays
• Reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities

Our Mattress Sales Consultants will be on the sales floor providing guidance and solutions for our clients needs as well as responsible for selling bedroom furniture or other store furniture when needed.

• Use active listening and problem solving skills to help customers by providing solutions for their sleep and budget needs
• Knowledge of our furniture, mattress and mattress add on products to sell to clients
• Quickly build and maintain relationships with our customers'
