Position Core Profile: The Account Manager, Landscaping, is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their landscaping needs are met with the highest quality of professionalism. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Differentiators:

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of landscaping principles, practices, and trends. Experience or education in horticulture, landscape design, or related fields.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships. This includes the ability to understand client needs, communicate effectively, and provide innovative solutions.
  • Sales and Business Development: Experience in sales or business development, particularly in the landscaping or related industry, demonstrates an ability to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding landscape installation, maintenance, and snow removal.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs with customers to identify and document any issues or concerns.
  • Understanding client needs, recommend and upsell enhancements.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Operations Manager to estimate jobs based on labor, job demands, and pricing.
  • Ensure work tickets are managed according to schedule and budget.
  • Inspect properties to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain continuous communication with internal and external contacts, including vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of work tickets to ensure profitability and quality.
  • Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and other company-wide initiatives as needed.
  • Manage marketing and promotion of services and products to new and existing customers.
  • Perform snow removal duties during snow season while ensuring proper safety procedures.

Requirements: Experience and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree preferred, horticulture degree preferred; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Proven experience in account management or a similar role in the landscaping industry.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of landscaping principles, practices, and industry trends.
  • Experience with estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
