Job Overview:
The National Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in wholesale and retail markets across the country. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets in wholesale and retail channels.
2. Identify and prioritize target accounts and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
3. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
4. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability and market penetration.
5. Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
7. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
8. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
9. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and generate leads.
10. Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to continually improve sales performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of success in sales, with at least X years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of wholesale and retail sales channels and distribution networks.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
7. Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
9. Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
