We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager with an understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities include overseeing and nurturing client accounts, managing territories, and strategically expanding our market presence in the petrochemical, metalworking, metal-finishing and food industries.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Business Development:
- Assist in developing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory and core markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge:
- Utilize your combined understanding of industrial processes and the technical aspects of our products to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Provide technical support to customers, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and application assistance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the market.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Conduct customer visits, meetings, and presentations to promote our products, address customer concerns, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in science degree or equivalent degree/experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to understand industrial processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build long-lasting relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
