Job Overview: The Marketing Account Manager role will create, plan, manage, and execute projects for assigned clients and company stakeholders under the oversight of the Director of Client Services. The Marketing Account Manager is a client facing role, and is responsible for developing relationships with existing clients to retain and grow their business. This is a client facing role that makes decisions of significant authority under the direction of the Director of Client Services.
Probationary Period: Upon initial hire, the Account Manager is required to complete a probationary period that may last up to 6 months prior to capabilities like art approval, strategic direction etc being fully granted. This probationary time frame may be lengthened or shortened at the discretion of the Director of Client Services.
Salary | $45,000 -52,000 DOE
Essential Expectations:
- Collaborate with the Account Management team, internal creative teams, clients, and partners to complete projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with other project parameters.
- Establish project roadmaps and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Delegate work and assignments to team members according to Company Policy and ensure that projects are completed according to specifications.
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Facilitate, attend, and organize internal and external meetings.
- Liaison between internal teams and the Account Management team.
- Liaison between client contacts and various FPW internal teams.
- Internally execute assigned tasks and/or facilitate the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Actively identify client revenue growth opportunities and work with the Director of Client Strategy and Director of Client Services to pursue opportunities with clients.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders about (not limited to) strategy, adjustments, risks, and progress.
- Elevate issues to leadership in a timely manner.
- Partner with the Director of Client Services and Director of Client Strategy to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Partner with the Account Management team to identify marketing trends and key opportunities.
- Navigate and respond to requests from various internal and external stakeholders, addressing questions and concerns as they arise.
- Prepare, format, and edit client-facing presentations and other documents.
- Create, contribute to, and interpret reports.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement marketing strategies across various digital and traditional channels.
- Partner with the Account Management team in defining project scope and objectives.
- Partner with the Account Management team in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Attention to Detail: Must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep the information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Willingness to Learn: Must be willing to learn, improve and refine skills. Ones ability to receive and implement constructive criticism is paramount to their success in this role.
- Computer Literacy: Must be able to use computer-based tools to work efficiently and effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suites or related software.

- Direct client contact (run meetings w/ pre-approval, agenda approval)
Estimates
- Estimate approval authority for merch & production under $1,000
- Estimate approval authority for brand under $2,500
Purchasing Power
- Project-based purchase power under $2,500
Creative Direction (pre project approval)*
- Full Creative Direction
- Full access to art direction input from the Creative Director
Strategic Direction (approval to direct projects and tasks)*
- Strategic Ideation Only and/or By Approval, by client
Art Approval (approval to send projects to clients)*
- Full Art Approval utilizing Creative Director input based on defined processes

- Limited authority, binding commitments up to $1,500 without approval

Travel Expectations
- Up to 35%; Semi-frequent travel to client sites may be required.
Education and Prior Experience Expectations:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Minimum (2) years experience managing client relationships, and (1) year of digital marketing experience and/or exposure.

Physical Requirements:
Work to be conducted primarily in office and at a client location; however, some work may be conducted remotely via technology. This position requires work during the regular workweek. This position will require some lifting (up to 20 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
