Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious, driven Insurance Sales Agent that is already licensed in Colorado to join our growing team at Trailstone Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for property and casualty products to clients in our target states: CO, AZ, WA, OR, UT, and ID.

Our ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter with a passion for helping others and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for enriching lives in the communities we serve by educating clients and prospects about their coverage and price options, as well as building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various lead sources to prospect for new business
  • Prospect and call leads, as well as ask for referrals, and build a network to grow their book of business
  • Educating clients and prospects about their coverage needs and options
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and retention, communicating with them via email, phone, and text as needed
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices that may affect your clients coverage
  • Update notes and tasks in our CRM and other organizational tools to accurately document all interactions with clients
  • We offer ongoing training and mentorship to support your success!

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to serve and help others
  • Must have active Colorado Property and Casualty insurance license
  • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets are a bonus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude
  • Technologically savvy & proficient with PCs and Microsoft systems
  • Bilingual (Spanish+English) plus
  • U.S. work authorization (required)
