Solar Sales Description:

Our company is currently in need of experienced Solar Sales Consultants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential solar installations sales. The successful candidate should also have excellent speaking and writing skills, be a highly motivated self-starter and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, especially in the solar industry, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with local and state regulations related to solar installations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. We also provide leads as well.
  • Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs, explain the advantages of solar energy, and tailor solutions to their requirements.
  • Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that outline the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy systems.
  • Quoting and Pricing: Provide accurate quotes and pricing information for solar installations, considering factors such as system size, incentives, and financing options.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on government incentives, rebates, and financing options available for solar projects.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with customers to secure solar energy system sales.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of solar solutions.
  • Documentation: Ensure all necessary paperwork, contracts, and permits are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions for reporting and analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,000.00 - $184,000.00 per year
