Full description of the position

We are seeking a District Sales Manager to create and expand sales for our Tacoma branch. As a District Sales Manager, you are key in the growth and development of new and existing customer relationships. Youll also be a bridge between customers and our engineering team with a focus on facilitating a smooth buying process for each customer.

Responsibilities:

• Selling drywall, steel framing products and construction industry accessories
• Establishing, developing, and managing customer relationships
• Facilitating the sales process with every customer
• Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to target new customers; including cold calling and job site visits
• Providing technical support to customers
• Communicating with customers on a regular basis to discuss their specific needs, make recommendations and resolve service concerns
• Working with engineers, architects and in-house personnel to help define project requirements

Qualifications:

• College degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience as a sales professional
• Strong construction industry knowledge and familiarity with drywall and steel stud products
• Proven experience in business and sales development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Superior written, verbal communication and public speaking skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
