The Position

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team of roofing professionals. The role is responsible for identifying customers needs and goals, provide solutions from Code Red Roofers, overcome objections, properly setting expectations, and signing contracts with homeowners. This includes being responsible and able to properly estimate, identify scope of work, follow up regularly and effectively, and maintain provided tools and equipment. They are responsible for offering the best customer experience while achieving the sales goals established by leadership.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Sales and Customer Care:

The Outside Sales Representatives role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business, within a specified sales territory.

Outside Sales Representatives answer client questions, educating customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally, and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.

In this role, you will be a liaison between the customers and cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.

Also, you will draft sales proposals to present to well-qualified customers as well as establish customer expectations based on the production schedule, supply availability, and their needs to ensure a timely and successful delivery of Code Red Roofing solutions.

  • Follow Up

Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers.

You will be expected to maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts by utilizing account management CRM software.

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.

Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers to establish referral and repeat business.

  • Site Inspections:

Inspect current roof condition to provide the most effective solution.

Properly document, photograph, and identify access and production issues.

  • Estimating:

Accurately estimate labor, materials, and preexisting conditions.

Negotiate contracts and close contracts to maximize profits.

Monitor the companys industry competitors, new products, and market conditions and understand the customers specific needs.

  • Equipment Management

Operate vehicle safely, and care for and clean equipment regularly.

Equipment includes (but is not limited to) phone, computers, printers, drones, ladders, trucks or other vehicles provided by Code Red Roofers.

  • Other Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory.

Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Work with management as a team to improve knowledge of roof products, company sales best practices, and negotiation of pricing.

Communicate progress, challenges, successes, and issues effectively.

Experience Requirements:

  • Residential/commercial roofing sales position
  • Project costing and planning
  • Roofing techniques, material types, and products

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Associate degree or greater (preferred but not required)

Additional Criteria:

  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to set up a ladder and climb onto a roof.
  • Maintain a clean driving record, have a valid driver license, and be eligible per insurance guidelines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
