Business Development Manager - Sales Hunter

Managed Cybersecurity Compliance and IT Services

Location: Greater Pittsburgh Area (NOT A REMOTE POSITION)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager - Sales Hunter to add to our sales team. This role is crucial for broadening our presence across the cybersecurity and IT services marketplace, with a keen focus on identifying and fostering relationships with prospective clients, particularly within the manufacturing, energy, and other highly regulated sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out new business opportunities, leveraging diverse channels such as cold outreach, networking platforms, and industry events to uncover untapped potential.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the prospects needs, challenges, and pain points, focusing on their existing cybersecurity, compliance, and IT support needs.
  • Formulate and execute robust outbound and inbound sales strategies to engage potential clients effectively, tailoring messaging and value propositions to align with the specific needs of each prospect.
  • Initiate and lead discovery calls to ascertain the prospects level of interest, budgetary constraints, decision-making authority, and purchase timeline concerning cybersecurity and IT solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system, ensuring every detail is logged for future reference as well as next steps in the sales process.
  • Engage leads at various stages of the sales pipeline, addressing queries and objections to move them towards conversion.
  • Regularly review key sales metrics to identify improvement opportunities and refine strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:
