Our North Little Rock, AR location is currently seeking a full time Inside Sales Specialist.

Inside Sales Specialist: This position is highly engaged daily with our external customers and vendors! Intermediate computer skill set as well as the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks are a must. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm and may require overtime per business necessity.

Essential Functions:

Contact partners through, but not limited to,phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities toextend initiatives with the company.

Match programs to customer requirements, andclose contracts for defined programs.

Collaborate with management to facilitate newprograms, messages, campaigns, and offerings.

Ensure reporting and communications is frequentand bi-directional.

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Answers customer inquiries concerning price,qualifying product needs and partners with vendors for support.

Communicates with outside sales representativeson customer orders, requirements, problems or concerns and changes.

Initiates product transfers to other branches ordirect to customers.

Generate, place and confirm purchase orders withsuppliers.

Operates cash register. Enters sales data intothe computer and researches information for customers using the computersystem.

Accurately completes all required paperwork(e.g., coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summary, bank deposits, etc.) on atimely basis.

Documents sales, quotes or other businessrequested information.

Receives payment for merchandise or servicessold and enters sale into the computer. Responsible for payments received andadhering to all administrative and accounting related procedures.

Maintains current price documentation andproduct literature as it becomes available.

Keeps product knowledge current to evolvingmanufacturing supply.

Participate in the physical inventory of thewarehouse materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 45 per week
