Join our expanding team and be in the exciting epicenter of the technological revolution, Silicon Valley. We are looking to add a Sales Engineer to our team. The candidate will provide technical assistance to the Sales Team by performing a variety of duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Calls on company representatives such as engineers, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and explains the products or services offered by NPI.

2. Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.

2. Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.

3. Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

4. Draws up sales or service contract for products or services.

5. Provides technical training to employees of client.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. College degree or equivalent in engineering or technical field.

2. Minimum of 1 years experience in similar manufacturing environment.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

1. Good command of the English language and ability to interpret technical data required.

2. Ability to write instructions for technical documents.

3. Ability to speak to groups of technically oriented customers, both internal and external.

4. Good problem-solving skills in order to solve customers technical problems.

5. Logical thinker and explainer.

6. Friendly manner in order to deal with customers.

This position requires a person to spend time both in an office environment and on the manufacturing floors of customers, external and internal.
