Full time position as a optical retail sales associate and front desk associate.

Looking for someone ambitious and self motivated who is willing to learn and grow with the practice. Experience in optical or any medical practice is preferred but not required. WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON!! OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME AN APPRENTICE OPTICIAN!

Ideally, we want to find someone with the following characteristics:

- Great personality and friendly WITH EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

- Prior experience in optical or medical practice (or any customer service-oriented job)

- Prior sales experience

- Enjoys talking to people and has a positive attitude

- Can multitask and is a quick/motivated learner

- Good basic computer skills (will learn Revolution EMR- electronic medical records system)

- Strong communication skills

- Great work ethic, organized and DEPENDABLE

- Takes pride in their work

- Detail oriented

All employees will be cross trained. Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Assisting in eye wear selection/sales for patients

- Fitting and Adjusting eye wear on patients; dispense and repair glasses

- Trouble shooting patient eyeglass prescription complaints/problems

- Ordering glasses and contacts from the lab

- Checking patients in and out

- Checking insurance benefits/eligibility and billing insurances

- Office hours are M/W 9:15am-7pm, T/Th 9:15-Fri 9:30-2pm, Sat 9:00-2:00pm

(potential to expand hours as the practice grows)
